tea break

I just pinched this off Jess Fink's blog (finkenstein, it is so fabulous. An 80's comics version of a-ha's Take on Me.

Yet another great comic strip today by nedroidcomics, Fool for Love.

And one from benchilada, Cake Wrecks: when professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong.

Other news, Images of Delight is holding a four-day Charlotte Voake exhibition 16 - 19 Oct in London here. My first illustration tutor, Elizabeth Harbour, really liked Voake's work so I've always kept an eye out for her. (her Magic Pencil website)

I've seen that clip before... possibly in the 80's, as a kid.

That's funny, I thought it was retro, but from what you say, it might be the real thing! :-D

I'm only 80% sure, but yeah, I think it's real.

Now I get it : It's the original clip, but they re-made the song, changing the lyrics so that they fit what's going on in the video.

here is the original unchanged clip

A good spoof on the song reminded how much I like that video (a sad thing to admit I know).

I always liked that video, anyway it's hip to be square.

It's a great video, no need to apologise! :-) And I have an 'a-ha's Greatest Hits' album of which I'm still rather fond.
