Oxleas Wood

Today Stuart & I hiked another leg of the Capital Ring, from Charleton to Oxleas Wood, ending at Eltham Palace (where it was almost dark). The cosy cafe at the top of Oxleas Wood is open seven days a week all year, and serves cooked breakfasts! We'll be back.

Here are some things we saw along the way...

...And the 321 bus we got at the end of the hike took us straight to the front door of our local supermarket (which was highly convenient for picking up last-minute supper bits).

Here are some Oxleas-inspired tree drawings (well, two trees in particular).

Outdoor Ballet
Is that an all-male ballet-in-the-park production of "Samurai"?

Re: Outdoor Ballet
Why yes, I believe it was! They're doing Swan Lake next week, with hockey sticks.
