i can't hear you

Yesterday we made lots of pancakes. We told the neighbour kid we were going to make them at 8pm, but she was so excited that she came over three times before then just to check we hadn't started earlier.

I have a busy day of work today, deadlines pressing, and a tedious cold that makes me feel like I'm walking around with my head in an aquarium. Boo. The Russian word for 'head cold' sounds like 'NAH-smurrrk', which seems much more fitting.

pancake neighbor
What an awesome neighbor you are!

I hope you're feeling better soon! The cold has not hindered your creative powers. Great drawing!

Thanks! And yum! This past year I've become a huge fan of frozen raspberries, I could eat them with anything.

Get well soon
I made a million pancakes yesterday evening, well it felt like that. They have been successfully gobbled now, yum!

Sorry to hear you have a cold. I hope you feel better soon. I had a cold at the weekend, so decided to take night-nurse on Sunday evening... slept very, very well and but yawned my way through Monday!

Good luck with the illustrations,

Great drawing! I like the brush marks at the bottom!

Thanks for that! My brush pen is funny, sometimes it's exactly what I need for a drawing and looks good, and other times it makes the picture look like it was drawn by a three year old. But I can never tell which way it will go.
