Aw, he's cute. Drew a rhino like Shoo Rayner, children's book veteran and very nice guy.

Events: I'm leading the Little Pencil workshop at the ICA tomorrow (Friday) evening for kids aged 4-11.

This Saturday I'm hosting a 'Make your own Monster' workshop table and selling Morris the Mankiest Monster books at a local arts and crafts fair in Camberwell, south London. There will be tea and cakes! 11am-3pm, admission is £1/50p concessions/children free, Well Community Church hall, Wells Way, Camberwell SE5 7SY (entrance opposite Dowlas Street, near the 343 bus stop). Do come along!

A big congratulations to Darryl Cunningham talllguywrites for finishing the last, very personal, chapter of his insightful and beautifully crafted book Psychiatric Tales, which will come out with Blank Slate in February. Go read it here!

Yesterday Gary and I had way too much fun taking snapshots for his author photo, more pics over at the Fleece Station blog. Our agents are revamping their website, I cracked up to see they've put me between Ewan McGregor and Paul McKenna. (New tagline: I can make you sleep AND smile showing both rows of teeth!) Here's my favourite version of Gary's photo, from cdave:

And thanks to monster competition winner Ezekiel, and his dad, for sending in a photo of Ezekiel and his Morris book. Yay!
