studio heating solution!

We have a heater, but the hot air never seems to get under the desks. So ellenlindner and I are sitting here working with our feet propped up on these pink babies:



I notice they are both named Cassandra.

we have several, actually. martha puts them in the kids' beds in the winter time. i never use 'em normally, but i've got lovely warm tootsies as i write, for the first time (at my desk) in ages.

Ooh, good, glad you've warmed up! I got so much more work done today than I have since the snow started, I'm sure it's because I'm not utterly miserable with frozen toes!

this is SUCH a good idea! I just got a new hot water bottle with frogs on it, and I am putting it to this same use RIGHT NOW.

Oh, my! That is haute cuisine if I ever heard it! You could make up a whole new cookbook... waterbottle crisps, radiator beans, kettle noodles... I can hardly wait. ;)
