I once took the Eurostar, first class, on Christmas eve (they were the only seats available). Their was a famous American actor in our carriage, but her name escapes me.

My mum comes back from France tomorrow. I'm hoping for foie gras, sausage, anchovies, and salt.

I didn't meet Sempé, but I did get to hear a talk by him! He's amazing, it's true. I love his pictures from New York, if only the album didn't cost €50 and take up three inches of shelf space... hmm, still tempted, though.

Can i ask a boring technical question? What sort of pen are you using for these?

Thanks! I was using a Pentel brush pen for most of it, occasionally using some smaller pens for some of the smaller lines (a fountain pen and a Pentel gel pen, I think.)
