irish children's book festival

You may have already seen this video from my blog post in October about the library tour of Ireland I did with my studio mate Gary Northfield for the Irish Children's Book Festival, organised by Children's Books Ireland. But since the show went offline from the RTE's website, a few people have asked if there's any way to watch it again. So just to say, it's back online, if you want a peek at Gary and me mucking about and being generally silly on live television. (Apologies for the repeat!)

(Click here to read about it. They even put makeup on Gary's hands!) And keep an eye on The Fleece Station blog for studio updates.

Baggy sleeves
Hooray! You put it up at last. Now I can watch Gary's baggy sleeves waving about as many times as I like. :)

Hong Kong Phooey
You're on TV! This is so cool! I think maybe this was blocked for American viewers before? Or I just missed it.

This is me, writing the Hong Kong Phooey message. I should go to bed now. Good night, Fleece Station's Irish television stars.

Re: Hong Kong Phooey
Hey there, David! Just spotted your comment! And I was also just listening to Kimya Dawson singing in the Moldy Peaches a song Nothing Came Out that had the words Hong Kong Phooey in it, so now I'm wondering what your subject header meant! :D I love it when stuff coincides like that.

Hope all's well with you x

Re: Hong Kong Phooey
Gary mentioned Hong Kong Phooey in the interview. HKP was a Saturday Morning cartoon in the 70's. Memorable mainly for its goofy theme song. Take a look...

Re: Hong Kong Phooey
Perhaps, unlike me, you were a child with good taste? ;)

Re: Hong Kong Phooey
More like a clueless child! I'm sure I would've sat in front of it for hours in a zombie state if I'd known about it. :)
