I sort of laughed at Philip for getting a poodle but Frodo is less frou-frou than one would expect and actually quite a fab dog.

cross hatching
Hi Sarah -- Funny random story: I was skyping with my parents who are in London their way back to the States from Ethiopia and asked them if they were going to see you while they were there. So my Dad and I are both online looking you up and I found this post. So I had to share it with Sadie (who is almost 6, by the way) because she just had an assignment in kindergarten this week to practice cross hatching after reading Mr. Gumpy's Motor Car. She was very impressed that I had a childhood friend who was a real artist (art is one of her current career aspirations -- thankfully upgraded from princess in the last few months!). Great to "see" you (you look great!) and your fabulous sketches! Love, Jill
