I just drew a picture of my beautiful next-door neighbour, Chinyere. She recently arrived from Nigeria, but is originally from Cameroon, and looks much better in a headscarf than I do. I'm hoping I'll be able to draw her a lot more.

Hooray, good news! I have an agent, the lovely and hugely efficient Rosemary Canter! And here's a review I did at last night's party at the Groucho Club in Soho, launching Frank Beddor's latest book. (That's my arm in the photo.)

Thanks, Maneula! Hey, an illustrator/costume design friend of mine is thinking of moving to Italy at some point. I thought I must get you both in touch - her website is http://www.cristinapetrucci.com

Hi, Ellen! We missed you! Susan rang up at the last minute and said she couldn't come either, but Cristina and I never regret an afternoon at Royal Teas! I brought along the neighbour pictured above and we were a good threesome. Hope your comic is going well! x

Well, let me know next time...I do love a good cup of tea! :)
The comic is going fairly well...we'll have to catch up soon. I'd love to see how your picture book is coming!

You're right, a good cuppa is always welcome! Cristina was just raving about a great tea shop she found off Oxford St, 'Postcard Teas' on Dering St. I'll have to try it out one of these days. I'm frantically trying to get things together for Seattle, but I'll be sure to get in touch when I get back! I'd love to see you! Anything you want from the US?
