news flash - christmas cards on sale!

My Christmas cards for the Cutty Sark have just gone on sale! They feature three of the figureheads from the collection making merry in storage. Their names are Nanny (the Cutty Sark's own figurehead), Lalla Rook and General Gordon. You can buy card packs of 5 either in the tent by the ship or in the ONLINE SHOP, and they're happy to deliver in the UK or internationally. Buy lots, since all the proceeds go to preserve this famous clipper ship!

It's beautiful, Sarah! I just ordered a set. I would have ordered two, but shipping to the US gets too expensive. I can't wait to send this out to friends and family (and keep one for myself)!

Oh wow, thanks so much! :-D

Yeah, I know it's kind of hard with the state of the US dollar right now. When I was back in America, I did a little more shopping than usual because the pound stretched so far that it felt a bit like going to Mexico. I hope that doesn't last too long, it must wreak havoc with the Canadian trade.

Nice work!
The cards arrived in the mail today; they look even better IRL than online! Was some special printing method used (Stochastic maybe?)? Or is it traditional offset?

Re: Nice work!
Hooray, glad you got them! :-D

Gosh, I don't know how they were printed. I just sent the Cutty Sark my image and they did all the formatting and dealing with the printer. The printer is http://www.cornflower.co.uk

I think I've heard of them somewhere before..
Cool -- whatever process Cornflower used, it looks really nice!
