i made an airship

The two clouds and the airship are real, the others I added to the photo because it made me laugh, seeing all these clouds and stars in my living room. I made these for my friend Sally Nicholls, for her book launch this evening. I can't wait to read her book, Ways to Live Forever. It's already been shortlisted for the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize. Here's an interview at WriteWords. Hooray, Sally!

Oh, good news. I ran into the manager on the Cutty Sark who deals with the Christmas cards, and she said they'd sold out really quickly. I don't know how many were printed, but thanks to all of you who bought them!

Very cool. I like the way you incorporated your three dimensional artwork with the two dimensional graphic...you creative kids these days.
Hope the book launch went well. I read an excerpt from the book...your friend is very talented. I don't know if she used the first page to query an editor but it certainly gets your attention.
I will ask my cousin (head librarian) to order a copy for the county library. We have one of Manuela's Bill books there already.
