greenwich rambling

Just a quick drawing today, from a Reynolds painting at the Queen's House, part of our tour of Greenwich and Blackheath with our house guest, Yoko. (The guy in the painting looks an awful lot like John Malkovich, which isn't at all evident from my sketch.) We mucked around a bit with my camera in the Painted Hall of the old Royal Naval College, admired the daffodills by Trinity music college and had a full cream tea at fabulous Royal Teas.

HEY! Great sketch!!! Emma was telling me she has finally been to the famed Royal Teas and that it fully lives up to your descriptions! I have been promised an introduction to its delights in the near future...

That's it, I'm taking up drinking caffeine again solely for the purpose of meeting you for tea at Royal Teas when I'm in London in May.

I think they do herbal teas as well, if that's of any help! ;-)

You never took me to Royal Teas when we went to the Queen's House!

Re: Royal tees
Sorry, Auntie! But I seem to remember having a very nice cassoulet in Greenwich with you... ;-) Let's do it on your next visit!
