The Guardian presents Super Animal Adventure Squad and Vern and Lettuce!

Cor, blimey!

It's funny seeing Vern and Lettuce go all the way back to Issue 1. That's when I was still nervously thinking, can I really make more than one or two full-page comics? I felt like I was telling a bit of a fib when I confidently said to publisher David Fickling, 'Of course I can do a weekly comic!' I really didn't know if I could, but I wasn't about to tell him that and miss my chance.
