a day with my colourist

I did lots of morning sketches on Friday and they were immediately coloured in by my friend Dulcie. She kept asking me to put all the colours of paint on the palette and then she'd mush them all together into grey.



Me: But when you do that, all your bright colours go muddy!
Dulcie [witheringly]: But I'm painting a hippo. Hippos like mud.

Then we had a tea party with Angelina Ballerina.
