saturday in the comics tank!

Yesterday a bunch of us from the the DFC had a great time leading a comics workshop at London's Cartoon Museum Presenters included the Etherington brothers, Zak Simmonds-Hurn and Adam Murphy. (Zak and Adam's stuff will be appearing later in the DFC.) Here are some pics and you can see some great photos by Alex Lee here (including one of me looking like a horse). Thanks so much to those of you who came along, including my novelist Bologna travel buddy Candy Gourlay and her daughter Mia, who stars in the remarkable film Why Writers Need Agents.

The pub afterwards was great fun, so many comics people that I'm really fond of joined us, including Ellen Lindner, Stephen Betts, Sean Azzopardi, Dave O'Connell, Rian Hughes, DFC publicist Lindsey Mooney, Giovanni Spinella, Will Kane and Cartoon Museum artist-in-residence Mark Stafford.
