Everyone's terribly worried about the after-effects of Typhoon Haiyan, it's awful over there right now. My writer friend, Candy Gourlay, whose relatives live in the Philippines, has been spreading the word about her friend Keris Stainton setting up an
Authors for the Philippines online auction to raise money for the
Typhone Haiyan Appeal. Load of authors have taken part,
go have a browse of the selection of things you can bid on to raise money. One of the items is a signed and doodled copy of
Oliver and the Seawigs, which you can
find here.

And I've offered a
Picture Book Critique (something I don't normally do because I put a lot of thought into it and it's very time-consuming).
Visit the listing here.
Keris will be uploading items through the night for the auction which
starts tomorrow (Wed) at 8am GMT and will close at 8pm GMT on Wed, 20 Nov. Here's a
message from Candy.
