For Mrs Jung in Queens, NY

Here's my contribution to a comic collective publication called Freedom, edited by Chrissie Harper. I've met up recently with Chrissie and Paul Gravett, who are part of the London Comics group.

Rose's mother, Mrs Jung, supplied her daughter (who supplied me) with fabulous homemade kimchi while we were studying at Bryn Mawr. Rose got me through some late nights with kimchi supplements in the wee hours. (But, I must add, Mrs Jung used just the right level of chilli, something I haven't found in London store-bought kimchi, which either goes overboard on fire or on sugar. I don't like the sugary version, so I take my chances with the alternative...)
