I'm just working like a crazy person on a picture book due at the end of the month, so I'm a bit at a loss of what to post, other than whinging about my the bristles coming out of my brushes and other such thrilling subject matter. So I will post a link to comics artist Willow Dawson, whose work I want to go back and explore when I have a moment.

* Sincerity begins with a smile for everyone and with hearty encouragement for those who are toiling.
* Blood is thicker than lemonade.
* Dead men tell no lies, but deader men just lie there.
* Trust not an Englishman to the wisdom of proverbs, trust him only to fall on the just and the unjust alike.
* Change your lightbulb lest it change you first.
* People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw their clothes off without checking to see if the neighbours are looking.
* Charity begins at home but valour only starts in the garage.
* Ponder the absence of noodles to make chicken soup for the soul.
* The sparrow of morning calls to the crow of bedtime and the hound of darkness howls to the poodle of dawn.
