shiny! bright! look what my sister and dad made

I just got off Skype with my family, and my dad showed me photos of the coffee table he made with my sister, converted from an old non-working pinball machine she bought while we were down in Portland. Doesn't it look fabulous?

Here's the original pinball machine, at the top of my parents' driveway:

My dad and sister make lots of cool stuff.

Here's the sign they refurbished for the bar my sister and her partner, Mike Lewis, own in Seattle, the Streamline Tavern (very near the Space Needle). My dad completely changed the whole way the sign was lit, making it much safer, but keeping the original look.
