speak up for libraries!

Well done, Candy Gourlay (@candygourlay on Twitter), Philip Ardagh (@PhilipArdagh), Lucy Coats (@lucycoats), Alan Gibbons (@mygibbo), Gillian Cross, Chris Priestley, Fiona Dunbar (@fidunbar), Lydia Syson, and others who turned out to support our amazing, totally essential libraries.

I should have been there with you, I'm ashamed of myself for that. You guys rock! As do all you librarians and people fighting to keep our libraries open. Libraries are more than just a storage place for books; they provide a huge amount of community services and are safe havens where people of all ages can learn, explore and grow.
