Yup, the little guy was still there today, and I bought my second glass. Good stuff, made from real lemons. You can reasonably argue that the basic lemons & sugar lemonade is the best, but if you want to try a little variation on the them, here's something for you. You don't actually drink the chili, it just spices up the mix and looks pretty.
And another piece of news if you're paying attention, one of my all-time favourite writers and illustrators Shaun Tan is coming to London's Discover Children's Story Centre! I'm not sure the details are even up on the website yet, but here they are. I imagine it will book up pretty fast.
Wednesday, 29 August, 2.30pm, ages 6+ - The Arrival with Shaun Tan: A rare chance to meet award-winning author/illustrator Shaun Tan in the UK. Shaun will be drawing and talking about how he develops his beautiful picture books. A must for older children and adults.
This event is also open to adults without children. It will be very popular so please book in advance on 020 8536 5555.
Ticket prices are Adult £4.50/Child £4.50, Concessions £4.00 and for a famliy of four £16.00. Tickets also include admission to Discover's Story Trail, Superheroes exhibition and the Story Garden.
