I still have a ways to go on the comic I mentioned earlier, but here's a preview of the beginning. Gini and Sam take awhile just to get out of London, as you can see. I did most of it on the airplane, so please attribute any particularly shaky lines to turbulence.
(You can see their earlier Berlin adventure here.)
Thanks, David! And I'm so glad I got the chance to meet you. Wish I could pop round for Friends of the Nib meetings on a more regular basis! I read your contribution to the 24-hour comic book at Cosmic Monkey in Portland, and when I name-dropped you to the cashier, he went to the back and dug out a free comic to give me ('Fleep' by Jason Shiga, now in my pile of things to read).
Oh, I LOVE this!!! You are SO on form! How you managed this while on a plane I can't imagine... If it were my place to offer one teeny not-even-a-criticism, I sometimes find that I want Gini and Sam to look just a little more different from one another, although obviously that resolves itself once Sam gets his hat on. But I totally love this! Nobody does the comedy of domestic details like you! Welcome back!!!!!
March 12th, 2023. Today is the day we celebrate The librarians' Day here in Brazil. I would like people could be more grateful and respectful to such professionals. Congratulations to all of us!!
