all i see is rain and diggers

Rain, rain, rain, for days and days. But this is enlivened by having seven pieces of heavy machinery in front of my house, with a bunch of guys working hard on the railway. My friend brought her three-year-old son over and he went absolutely nuts watching, which reminded me that this really is a cool thing, not a little bit of a pain. Trains, cranes, planes and diggers, what more could anyone want. If you lie down on our sofa and look out the window, you can see four airplanes in a row, heading toward Heathrow. I drew the most dashing digger in our yard, but it was kind of hard to see because the rain was so thick on my window. So this is my impression of a digger.
