
The swap meet coordinator, Giovanni Spinella, writes: The purpose of this event is to provide all comic book creators a venue where they can meet other creators, to network, socialise and discuss any matter that they find important.
This event isn’t a market, so there will be no expectations for you to buy a table or the likes. Nor is this event some kind of recruitment drive. This is simply a venue that we are offering to all small-press creators.
The decision to call it a swap-meet comes from the thought that as a creator, you might wish to show your products to other creators and exchange comics. You are not, however obliged to do so. Stuart, Yoko and I went to a concert last night by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. They had this brilliant and shockingly young Armenian violinist named Sergey Khachatryan who brought down the house.

And this made me laugh, a friend just asked me to order a Goi Goi Pillow, on a website she described as 'all about babies with oddly shaped heads'. I would so love to do illustrations for the website, but they might not turn out looking very PC.
