my 'at work' portrait by brian doben

Photographer Brian Doben has just provided me with a visual response to people at events who say, 'But you don't actually wear THAT while you're illustrating in the studio... do you?'

He shot these photos last year in my former studio at the Old Police Station. I'm in a new studio now, and I really miss the natural light of the old one (and Gary), but I don't miss the icebox conditions in winter. I need to find someone who knows about good lighting and get them to advise me at the new place I share with Elissa.

Brian's 'At Work' project is amazing, and I'm so honoured to be a part of it! Be sure to look at other pictures he's taken, of people in all sorts of professions.
