red, black & di terlizzi

Last night I went to the party at the Mayfair Hotel for the UK film launch of Spiderwick as a reviewer for Write Away. I've admired Tony DiTerlizzi's pen work for awhile (inspired hugely by Arthur Rackham and Norman Rockwell), and was glad to discover Holly Black is a LiveJournal user, blackholly. Holly was wearing great shoes, so I did a sketch of those this morning.

And here's a picture of the gang from Waterstone's in Basildon, all with lovely matching hair.
