I used my light box to ink over a sketch I made yesterday while I was listening to a talk.

Here's a funny pilot episode for a new French cartoon, Ariol, based on the comics by Marc Boutevant, whom I heard give a talk in Bologna. (Sorry, the subtitles are a bit hard to read in places.)

I was having a drink with some writers last night, including Sarwat Chadda, who's been taken on by agent Sarah Davies. I had a quick look over at Sarah's blog and she gives some useful and interesting information about how agents works. She also throws in with funny stories of things that happen to her, such as getting locked out of the house in her bathrobe and making a Batman cape and slippers from the newspaper to stay warm.

Edit: And now I've dug up my camera lead... I had a nice cup of tea with, ahem, nice_cup_of_tea, who'd flown in from Zurich, and a big cat. It was fun geeking out about blogging issues with another keen blogger (nice_cup_of_tea, not the cat).
